Hey! My name is Willem (25 years) and I started my PhD in February at the RIVM. The project is about building models to predict the spread of infectious diseases, like our good old friend corona… About myself: I am a social, physically active, calm and tidy person. In my spare time, I do calisthenics. Mostly in the gym, but preferably outside with nice weather and good company. Outdoor activities are my favorite! Besides calisthenics, I am looking for another sport, which might become bouldering and/or cycling. I also enjoy listening to music (from classical music to heavy metal and everything in between) and still want to learn how to sing. Besides sports, I really enjoy having a chat with my roommates during dinner or a relaxed evening on the couch. I work 2-3 days from home, so there are plenty of opportunities to catch up! Ik ben 22 en hou heel erg van gezelligheid, samen koken en de stad verkennen. Ik ben een huisgenoot die het leuk vindt om samen te koken etc. maar ook haar eigen ding doet :) Ik studeer in juni af van mijn Bachelor cultuur studies en doe het komende jaar een traineeship, dus ik kan zowel bij studenten als werkenden goed aansluiting vinden! Ik houd van een schoon huis waar mensen over de vloer komen maar waar je ook lekker kan thuiskomen aan het einde van de dag. Verder vind je me vaak in de dansstudio, in een museum, in de bios of picknickend in het park :) Hopelijk tot snel!

We are Samuel and Julia from Finland and we have lived happily together for almost two years now. We were both accepted to the University of Groningen a few weeks ago; Julia (23 years old) will study psychology and Samuel (soon-to-be 21 years old), will study biomedical engineering. Hence, we are now looking for an apartment in Groningen beginning from the 1st of August, but if needed, we are also capable of paying rent for the summer months as well. As our studies in Groningen will take at least four years, we are looking for long-term housing. This spring, we will both graduate from the Helsinki Conservatory of Music with degrees in classical music performance. During our studies there, we have been working part-time in a traditional high-class café in central Helsinki. After graduation, we will earn 2500 € per month and can travel to Groningen at almost any moment to see the apartment(s). As tenants, we are responsible and reliable – we have been lucky enough to grow up in modern, neat childhood homes and we truly appreciate aesthetics and a clean environment. We don't have pets, neither of us smokes or uses any kind of intoxicants and we never throw parties.

Hey my name is Marah and I’m 19 years and from Germany. I finished school in June and am currently living abroad before I want to start studying sport management in September. Therefore I’m looking for a room in Groningen. I’m open for anything, could be a shared household, a studio or even an apartment with up to 3 bedrooms. The price per room I’m looking for is max 700 euros incl. Preferably I would like to start renting the room in July but for the right fit I’m willing to rent it earlier. My big passion is sports, especially the gym and all kind of outdoor sports. I just completed my PT license and hope to work in a gym in addition to my studies. During my year abroad I’m partly living with a family as an aupair so definitely know what it means to successfully live together. I can’t say no to a coffee and love playing board games but am not that much of a partying person:)
